More information of August Club Movie Songs : August Club is an upcoming Malayalam film directed by K. B. Venu. A woman-oriented plot, the film has Rima Kallingal appearing as the central character. Its screenplay is written by noted author and filmmaker P. Padmarajan’s son Anantha Padmanabhan and is based on his own novelette titled Venalinte Kalaneekkangal. The film is based on the novelette Venalinte Kalaneekkangal which was published in the Malayala Manorama Vishuppathippu. “When I wrote Venalinte Kalaneekkangal, I never thought of converting it into a movie. It was Lal Jose, my friend, who discovered an inherent cinematic probability,” says Ananda Padmanabhan. A few changes have been brought in the script. The scenarist says, “Though the subtleties of chess were not fully utilised in my novel in order to make it simple for the readers to comprehend, some shrewd complexities have been introduced to the script. August Club will mark the debut of both K. B. Venu and Anantha Padmanabhan. The film’s music is composed by the music director duo Bennet Veetraag. “It’s gonna be a different feel altogether in this movie,” says Veetraag of the duo.
